Interested in joining a Philadelphia based  leading glass and mirror installation firm that services both residential and commercial glazing work, which includes store front installation, commercial door Installation and repair, custom mirrors, custom shower enclosures, glass table tops and shelves.

Our client is looking for strong glaziers, glass technicians OR carpenter / construction candidates that are interested in utilizing their skill set and transition to glass / mirror installation.

 Responsibilities:
 
This organization provides innovative and challenging projects that can significantly enhance your skills and experience. Working on diverse projects keeps the job exciting and can be a great learning experience. In addition, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Support installation processes on residential and commercial jobsites
  • Install retail store front glass, special glass mirrors and curtain walls
  • Prepare and protect your work area from damage and debris
  • Remove/extract old glass and framing as necessary
  • Clean and prepare openings for glass installation
  • Set new glass in place
  • Align and attach new glass
  • Insulate around the exterior of frames as necessary
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise
 
Qualifications:
 
  • 3+ years of experience in installation and fabrication of flat glass (mirrors, table tops, storefront windows, showers, insulated glass replacement)
  • OR, strong Construction Carpentry experience WITH exp. in glass installation
