Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems (compressors, evaporators, condensers, motors, fans, controls, etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Inspect and test systems using gauges, meters, and leak detection tools
- Recharge systems with refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Maintain accurate service records including work performed, parts used, and hours worked
Qualifications:
- EPA 608 certification required
- 2+ years of HVAC/R experience preferred
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigerant regulations
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience servicing cooking equipment is a plus
